Update
Hello all:
I have a few updates to share with all of you.
In late March/early April I was down in Miami visiting my family and visiting my original doctors to review scans, bloodwork, etc. I am recuperating from my last treatment and things appear to be stagnant... no progress, but not growth either. The prognosis is bittersweet. It's a good thing that I have no growth, but we need to be concerned that there is no progress. Doctors say I have to be patient, that this is no science, but I am anxious and want this ordeal behind me. I am emotionally and physically exhausted.
My next appointment is in May and we all hope that the treatments will continue to work and we are able to see some progress in the scans. Doctors suggested that I schedule surgery for the last week of June (regardless of progress). They feel that the side effects of the treatments does not outweigh the risk associated with the surgery. I have mixed feelings about it all, but have to trust my multiple doctors.
This week I had to make appointments with several doctors and a very important appointment is coming up either at the end of this week or beginning of next- perfect timing- towards the end of Passover.
Hope everyone is well. Spring is here and is making me feel nostalgic and sad. Need to keep myself occupied.

It's been a While
Hello All. I have not really blogged in a little while. Lots of things have happened in my life in a very short period. Will blog about it later (I do not want to blog about it in real time). I promise I will continue to blog more often. Eliana and I are leaving for Miami in a few days and I hope to have some peaceful time with my daughter and close family. We have received some not so good family news, put my dog of 18 years to sleep, and have had a whirlwind of events.
I am hoping April will be a better month, but only time will tell.
